When i started going to the kop aged 14 i used to meet up with Pete and John. We used to meet by the adidas pillar on the left as you looked at it. Pete gave me the advice to take my hat off after the game in case we got jumped by any opposing fans.Especially the mancs. When Pete was ill towards the end one of the last conversations we had saw me apologising to him. All because my son Eoin, Pete's Godson, is a united fan. We laughed even at the end. I will miss him at the family gatherings and even now when someone lets a ripper of a burp we call it an Uncle Pete. Still in our hearts and minds xxxx
