From Jan and Derek Reynolds on 19/7/2007

We first met Pete in 2005 when his daughter Clair and our son Martin decided to go travelling to Australia and the Far East - it was on the 7 July 2005 when the horrific bombs went off in London and the roads surrounding London Airport were totally blocked. We were following Pete who found an opening in the traffic which enabled us to get Clair and Martin to Heathrow in time for their flight. We just made it with half an hour to spare, we all saw them off and then spent time over a coffee getting to know one another. We chatted on the phone during the time the children were away and we were devastated when Pete was diagnosed with MND just before Clair and Martin returned in December 2006. He was a lovely man with a great sense of humour and we regret not being able to get to know him better. Rest in peace Pete - sincerely Jan and Derek
