My first meeting with Pete was at Barbs 50th do, and not to be forgotton.... Nick and I have been neighbours and friends of Barb and Bri for many years, but this had been our first introduction to the whole of the Lythgoe clan, and we turned up in our posh gear on our best behaviour. I was dancing in a reserved manner, as you do... then suddenly out of no where, this guy (Pete) came along and threw me around the dance floor like I have never been thrown before !!! He was very good actually, very fit and strong, and of course I loved it ! The memory always makes me smile....Since then, Pete and I have always had some good little chats. The last time I saw Pete, he was in a hospital bed fighting for his breath, but still wanting to have a chat, and still wanting to have a laugh....
